The Field Technician position affords an independent work environment where you travel to local customer sites to troubleshoot, repair and maintain bindery and finishing equipment. Earning potential increases as technician improves efficiency, customer satisfaction and develops new accounts.

Responsibilities:
• Maintaining and servicing copy finishing & bindery equipment.
• Providing ongoing customer training.
• Developing relationships with new and existing clients.
• Answering service calls for customers, and our service and sales organizations.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and retention.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Proven experience and proficiency with electro-mechanical diagnostic and repair tools and test equipment.
• Experience in troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment (i.e. copiers, paper handling systems, copy finishing equipment or similar).
• A strong electro-mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to organize and prioritize service orders.
• AA degree or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience with servicing office and/or copy equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of PC hardware and software systems is desired.
• Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record.
• Applicant must currently live in service area and be available for immediate hire.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
